Winter Hours Are Back!

My winter hours are back, which means I’ll be working later on Fridays. A few of you have already been snapping up these appointments, so if you’d like to start your weekend off right, Friday afternoons into the early evening are now open.

A Little Extra Warmth This Winter

I think that something especially delightful about a warm massage when the temperatures start to drop - I like to fondly call this time of year Hot Stone Season!

If you haven’t tried Therapeutic Hot Stone Massage yet it combines your regular massage with the gentle warmth of heated stones, helping to warm up those chilly muscles and create a deeply relaxing treatment.

The heat can help muscles soften and relax, which can be particularly nice when you’re feeling stiff or carrying extra tension through your shoulders, back, or neck. Combined with the your regular massage, it may also help support circulation and ease that general “I’ve been hibernating” feeling that can creep in during the colder months.

If you’re looking for something a little more cozy this winter, ask about adding Hot Stone Massage to your next appointment. As always, we can adjust the treatment to what your body needs that day!

Student Herbal Consultations — Last Few Dates Available!

It looks like I’ll be finishing my apprenticeship hours this December, which, after so many years of study, is very exciting!

I have a few Mondays still open for Student Herbal Consultations, so this will be your very last chance to try herbal medicine through my student-pricing program.

If Mondays during the day don’t work for you, please reach out. We can find a different time and day that works! And please feel free to share this with all of your friends and family.

Here’s the info -

Many of you know that, alongside my massage practice, I’m also completing my clinical herbal training through Among the Maples Herbals.

I’m currently accepting new student herbal consultation clients, and I continue to offer follow-up visits for my existing herbal clients as well.

These consultations are a great opportunity to explore how herbs might fit into your wellness while also helping me complete my supervised clinical training. Appointments include:

  • A detailed health intake

  • Individualized herbal recommendations

  • Follow-up support when appropriate

If you’ve been curious about working with herbs or would simply like more information, I’d be happy to answer any questions.

My final student dates for booking will be:

October 5
October 26
November 2
November 16
November 30
December 7

You can book these appointments directly through Jane or by contacting me.

As always, if you have any questions, just reach out!

Winter Holidays & Booking Ahead

I’ll be returning to Halifax this November to complete my apprenticeship hours toward becoming a Registered Herbalist!

Because of the timing, November and December — historically very busy months — are going to be a little busier than usual for me. If you’re hoping to get in for one or two last massages before the end of the year, please make sure you book ahead.

As always, thank you for continuing to support my little practice. ❤️
